Laurențiu Dascălu

Laurențiu Dascălu is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience primarily in iOS development, currently employed at Clubhouse since September 2021. Prior to this role, Laurențiu held the position of Staff Software Engineer at Twitter from December 2013 to August 2021, focusing on mobile development, A/B testing, and technologies such as Pig and Hadoop. Laurențiu began a professional journey in software engineering with various internships, including roles at Microsoft Corporation, Adobe Romania, and Freescale Semiconductor. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from EPFL and a Bachelor's degree from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, complemented by teaching assistant roles at UPB and involvement in free software initiatives.
