Cathy Cullen

Cathy Cullen has a diverse range of work experience spanning several decades. Cathy most recently worked at SnapIT Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer starting in May 2018. Prior to that, they were the Lead Ruby Developer at Crafty from January 2017 to April 2018. In 1991, they co-founded Software Options and Associates, where they served as a Partner until January 2017. Cathy'sresponsibilities at the firm included developing trading systems software, providing financial risk management consulting, and developing proprietary algorithms for clients in the financial industry. Some notable clients they worked with include Bank of America and the Chicago Board of Trade. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Web Developer at Jody Michael Associates, where they developed client-facing and internal- facing applications using languages such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Sinatra. Prior to that, they were a Financial Engineer at Kessler Asher Trading from 1987 to 1991 and a Software Engineer at Baldwin Microtrol from 1983 to 1987.

Cathy Cullen has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from DePaul University. Cathy also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. In addition, Cathy has completed the Full Stack Developer Program from Launch School. Cathy has also obtained a certification in Java Development from DePaul University in September 1991.
