Carmen Schwellnus

Carmen Schwellnus has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Carmen started their most recent role in August 2021 as a Finance Manager at Snapplify. Prior to that, they worked at BOS Brands from June 2020 to August 2021 as a Financial and Operations Manager - USA.

Before their time at BOS Brands, Carmen worked at Shimmer Capital from February 2018 to May 2020. During their tenure there, they held two positions. First, they were a Financial Accountant from February 2019 to May 2020, where they focused on managing management accounts and audit packs for multiple companies, cashflow and budget management, and ensuring statutory compliance and regulatory deadlines. Then, they were promoted to the role of Accountant to Group Financial Manager from February 2018 to May 2020. Carmen Schwellnus has an extensive education history. In 1998, they attended Fontainebleau Primary School for one year. From 2003 to 2003, they studied at St. Stithians Girls' College.

Carmen then pursued higher education at Stellenbosch University. From 2005 to 2009, Carmen completed their Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB). Subsequently, from 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Accounting degree at the same university.

In 2022, Carmen enrolled at Milpark Education for a Postgraduate Degree in Accounting. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the PGDA (ITC 2023 candidate) certification in November 2022, indicating their successful completion of a relevant examination.
