Location: US, Remote (East Coast Preferred)

Hours: 9am-6pm EST. We strive to create a supportive and flexible working environment for all team members. This role will play a key part in our holiday time during Q4 (our busiest and most exciting time of year) and hours during this time may be longer than the rest of the year.

Compensation: We feel passionately about transparency in compensation. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $140,000-170,000, with an annual target bonus of 10%.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Growth and Customer Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in both Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Sales-Led Growth (SLG) motions. They will play a critical role in driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through innovative marketing initiatives while overseeing marketing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own marketing operations, including the management of our tech stack (Hubspot, Intercom, SEMRush, Google Analytics), and hire and manage a marketing ops manager to support operational needs.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for all segments (e.g. ABM for ENT, multichannel paid campaigns for Self-Serve)
  • Lead email marketing initiatives for lifecycle marketing, optimizing the customer journey.
  • Own the paid search channel and hire and manage a growth marketer to support optimization efforts.
  • Manage reporting and analytics, leveraging data insights to drive strategic decision-making and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Drive customer marketing efforts to enhance retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Implement in-app messaging strategies to enhance user experience and drive product adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Rev Ops and GTM teams, to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
  • Work with the web team to optimize the website channel, conducting testing and iterating to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing Manager (PMM) and brand and communications team to launch campaigns and optimize channels for maximum impact.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with experience in  both PLG and SLG motions.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies, with quantifiable achievements in revenue growth, customer acquisition, etc.
  • Strong expertise in reporting and analytics, with the ability to glean insights and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Experience managing paid marketing campaigns, paid search channel, and optimizing all channels for customer acquisition.
  • Expertise in Hubspot and familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau), in-app messaging platforms (e.g., Intercom), project management tools (e.g., Notion), and analytics tools (e.g., SEMRush, Google Analytics).
  • Experience working with both enterprise and SMB customers.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling teams in a startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
