Kanchan Jagdhane

Associate Programme Director, Maternal & Child Health Public System Partnership at SNEHA

Kanchan is the Associate Programme Director of the Public System Partnership programme and is responsible for the sustaining referral mechanism, and primary health care services in the municipal corporations in Mumbai and suburban. She holds a master's degree in Social work from Nirmala Niketan College of Social work, Mumbai, and also holds a bachelor's degree in legislative law from Mumbai University. She has 13 years of professional experience in impact-making organisations working with children and women while she has been associated with SNEHA since the past 9 years. Prior to this, she had also worked with the organisation addressing gender-based violence in the slums of Thane-Mumbai. In her previous role at SNEHA, she was responsible for leading the strategic implementation of the Sexual Reproductive Health program, and the Sanjeevan Mobile Health Clinic programme. Over the years, she has been contributing to different programmes of SNEHA with her strong expertise in program management, stakeholder management, partnership management, and strategic implementation skills. Her empathetic and analytic behaviour has been helping the programme and the organisation as well to look into complex situations through many different lenses.
