Virginia Martinez

Virginia Martinez is a project manager at SNIPR Biome. Virginia has also worked as a senior scientist, research scientist, and postdoctoral researcher. Her research focuses on precision bacteria killing and microbiome engineering using CRISPR technology to combat human disease.

Martinez earned their Ph.D. in 2012 from Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas. Virginia was a postdoctoral researcher at The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability from 2014 to 2016 and Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas from 2012 to 2014. Martinez was a research scientist at Evolva Group from 2016 to 2017.

Virginia Martinez has a Ph.D. in Science, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Virginia also has a Bachelor’s Degree from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
