Amanda Reilly, MPH, CIC, currently serves as an Infection Preventionist at Snohomish County Health Department since November 2023, following a similar role at the Washington State Department of Health from June 2021 to November 2023. Amanda has also completed an Infection Prevention Internship within the HAI Section at the same department and has experience in various public health roles, including as a Front of House Staff member at Cal Performances and as a Graduate Student Instructor for a Geographic Information Systems course at the University of California, Berkeley. During a volunteer position with the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Amanda co-led a team focused on epidemiology data during the COVID-19 pandemic. Amanda has a solid background in public health, having coordinated internships and taught health-related courses while also interning as a Public Health Investigator at Alameda County Public Health Department. Amanda holds a Master of Public Health in Infectious Disease and Vaccinology and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health, both from the University of California, Berkeley, along with additional study at the University of Otago.
