Ramiro Amezcua Rios is an experienced environmental health specialist currently working with the Safe Environments program at Snohomish Health District since July 2022. Previously, Ramiro held similar positions at Snohomish Health District and served as a health and environmental investigator for King County, WA. Ramiro's public health expertise is further demonstrated through roles as a public health advisor for both Caduceus Healthcare Inc. and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on the COVID-19 response. Additionally, Ramiro has experience in food preparation at Central Washington University and as a general laborer in hay covering. An internship with Kittitas County Public Health Department provided foundational skills in environmental health safety. Ramiro earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Central Washington University in 2020.
