Emma Herron

President of the Board at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital

Emma earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of Washington and a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration at City University. She also has a Paralegal Certificate from the National Institute of Paralegal Studies held at the Seattle University campus. She is an Alumnus of Snoqualmie Citizens Academy and a former board member of the Snoqualmie Sister Cities Association.

Emma’s community involvement includes having served on the South East Regional Advisory Board for the Northwest Kidney Center where she provided input on delivering quality care to people with kidney problems. She coordinated a Pacific Asian Health Care Festival to educate the community on prevention of kidney disease, along with proper nutrition and exercise. Emma also served as a Board Member for the Mid-East King County Health and Safety Networks, an organization whose mission is to reduce violence, specifically youth violence, along with seven other “at-risk” behaviors.

A former Long-Term Care Ombudsman, Emma is a strong advocate for the rights of the elderly, disabled and vulnerable citizens federally mandated by the Older Americans Act. She is also a former member of the Bellevue Mediation Group.

Emma has served as Treasurer on the Aspen Village Homeowners Board in Aspen Village at Snoqualmie Ridge. She has been a resident of Snoqualmie Valley since 2002.
