Ryan Patey has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Ryan started their career as the Founder and Editor of T.O.F.U. Magazine in 2005, where they managed contributors, advertisers, and staff and successfully promoted the magazine through Canadian and North American tours. In 2008, Ryan worked as a Content Developer and Quality Assurance Head at Raised Media Inc., where they developed creative content for international clients and analyzed projects to ensure high standards. From 2010 to 2014, they served as a Copywriter at JAC » We Create, overseeing content creation for clients in different sectors and receiving recognition for marketing and web design projects. Ryan also has experience in event management as the Founder of Tumbleweed Entertainment from 2003 to 2014, where they handled various aspects of event planning and received nominations for industry awards. In 2020, they worked as a Community Manager at Snorble, and in 2022, Ryan became the Founder of Toronto Pet Sitter, offering full-time house sitting services for cats and dogs in Toronto.

From 1999 to 2004, Ryan Patey attended Dalhousie University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology.
