Rachel Salata

Rachel Salata is an experienced ski instructor and outdoor educator with a diverse background in staffing, leadership, and program facilitation. Currently serving as a ski instructor at Snow King Mountain Resort since November 2022, Rachel has also worked as the Director of Staffing for Wilderness Adventures, where the primary focus was on recruiting and managing seasonal staff. Rachel has led various outdoor programs, including Gap Semester courses and high school expeditions, and held roles at Park City and Boojum Institute for Experiential Education, where responsibilities included safety, curriculum development, and logistics oversight. With a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Management from Penn State University, Rachel's expertise encompasses climbing instruction, team development courses, and camp counseling, showcasing a strong commitment to promoting outdoor engagement and personal growth.
