Amber Smith

Amber Smith is an experienced professional in security data governance and information security, currently employed at Snowflake since May 2019. Previously, Amber held the role of Information Security Manager at J.P. Morgan from July 2015 to June 2019, and worked as a Java Software Developer at the same company during a prior short-term engagement. Amber began a career in application development at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center and contributed to NASA as an Industrial Engineer, where process improvement and property inspections were key responsibilities. Additional roles include business analysis and social media internship positions at Turner Broadcasting, as well as serving as Chief Financial Officer for the Junior Achievement of Georgia. Amber earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Florida State University and an Associate of Arts in Science from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
