Bartholomew Fromm

Bartholomew Fromm currently serves as Sr. Director of Engineering - Platform at Snowflake since August 2023. Prior to this, Fromm held the position of Sr. Director of Engineering - Production Engineering at Meta from February 2022 to April 2023, where responsibilities included leading a team focused on production engineering storage, resulting in a growth from approximately 60 to 85 members. At Apple, Fromm worked as Director of Engineering from May 2019 to December 2022, driving a transformation towards a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) model for a large organization. Fromm's experience at Google spanned several years in various roles, including Director of Engineering for Cloud SQL and Director of Site Reliability Engineering, with notable achievements in enhancing product reliability and launching new features. Fromm holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
