Brandon Chinn

Brandon Chinn is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in engineering systems and data privacy, currently working at Snowflake from February 2023 to February 2025. Prior to that, Brandon held several positions at LeapYear Technologies from June 2017 to February 2023, leading cross-team initiatives and implementing innovative architectures to enhance application independence and maintainability. Brandon started as an undergraduate researcher at the International Computer Science Institute in early 2017, focusing on user behavior related to SSL messages and password security. Additional roles include serving as Computer Coordinator for the University of California Marching Band, where Brandon redesigned a members portal, and working as an Independent Contractor developing an administrative interface for LeapYear Technologies. Brandon earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2017.
