Devin Petersohn

Devin Petersohn is a seasoned professional in computer science, currently serving as a Python Architect at Snowflake since October 2023. Prior to this role, Devin co-founded Ponder and worked as the Chief Technology Officer from July 2021 to October 2023. Devin's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where significant research in the RISELab was undertaken, alongside the creation of Modin. Previous experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Intel Corporation and various research and teaching positions at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Missouri. Devin's early career involved research in bioinformatics and computational biology as a student intern at Sandia National Laboratories and participation in the McNair Scholars program. Additionally, military service as a Korean Cryptologic Linguist provided foundational skills in secure communications and language proficiency.
