Khushboo Bhatia

Khushboo Bhatia is a Senior Software Engineer at Snowflake since May 2020, focusing on building vector search capabilities on Snowflake Data Cloud and previously developing the Snowpark DataFrame API for running Spark workloads. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Databricks, where contributions involved seamless authentication to AWS S3 and Azure ADLS from shared Spark clusters. Khushboo took a maternity break between August 2017 and October 2018 after serving as a Research Programmer at Carnegie Mellon University, where responsibilities included software architecture for the OpenChirp IoT software stack. At Oracle, Khushboo was a Senior Member of Technical Staff, leading the development of a service provisioning framework for Oracle Public Cloud and enhancing product performance in the Enterprise Email team. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at Texas A&M University, resulting in a publication on Byzantine-fault-tolerant algorithms. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, followed by a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
