Omer Cakmak

Omer Cakmak is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the technology and software sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Business Development at Snowflake since March 2024, Omer focuses on mobilizing data through the Data Cloud platform. Prior to this role, Omer held various managerial positions at Salesforce and Tableau Software from February 2020 to March 2024, including managing international teams and driving sales pipelines across the EMEA region. Omer's earlier experience includes strategic sales operations at Turbonomic and new business development roles at AssessFirst and Nearbee. Omer holds an M.B.A. in International Business from St. John's University and a Master’s Degree in International Business from ISEG, supplemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Business from Tongji University.
