Susan Devitt

Susan Devitt, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the fields of AI and machine learning, currently serving as the AIML Partnerships Development Manager at Snowflake since April 2025. Formerly, Susan held the role of Director at Slalom, where strategic partnerships and growth initiatives were prioritized within the Snowflake Business Unit. With significant experience at Snowflake from 2021 to 2024 in various engineering roles, Susan played a key part in promoting the capabilities of the Data Cloud. Prior to this, a tenure at Sense Corp as a Senior Consultant showcased expertise in applied statistics and predictive modeling. An accomplished academic background includes positions such as Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Florida, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Ecology from the University of California, Davis, a postdoctoral fellowship from Harvard University, and a B.S. in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
