Anran Cheng

Principal Geoscientist at Snowfox Discovery

Anran Cheng is a Principal Geoscientist at Snowfox Discovery since July 2023 and has held multiple roles at the University of Oxford, including Postdoctoral Researcher and Demonstrator/Tutor since October 2016. Additionally, Anran served as a Lecturer in Earth Science at Exeter College from November 2021 to September 2022 and contributed as a part-time researcher at the Oxford Martin School in early 2018, focusing on Carbon Capture and CO2 conversion methods. Experience includes an internship at The University of Tokyo in 2015, where Anran simulated saltwater intrusion processes and conducted field measurements. Anran's earlier roles at Imperial College London encompassed leadership as a Rector's Ambassador, involvement in public speaking events, and collaborative research using GIS for geological modeling. Anran Cheng holds a Ph.D. in Geochemistry from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in Earth Science from Imperial College London.
