Mike Lawson

Michael Lawson is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. As Chief Technology Officer at Snowfox Discovery since June 2024, Lawson oversees technological innovation and development. Previously, Lawson was with Aker BP ASA, serving as Manager Specialist Geology and Advanced Geologist, coordinating R&D programs across various geological disciplines. Lawson also held significant roles at ExxonMobil, including Technical Team Lead for Brazil Salt Basins, Exploration Geologist, and Research Geochemist, where expertise in hydrocarbon systems and gas-isotope geochemistry was demonstrated. Lawson earned a PhD in Isotope Geochemistry and a BSc in Environmental Science from The University of Manchester.
