Pallavi Maruvada

3D Art Director at Snowman

Pallavi Maruvada has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Pallavi started their career as a freelancer, working on various graphic designing projects such as logos, banners, website design, posters, and illustrations through oDesk from 2008 to 2009. In 2011, they worked as an intern at Version2games in India.

Pallavi then joined the gaming industry, working as a 3D/Concept Artist at CDM in collaboration with SkyBox Labs from January 2012 to April 2012. Pallavi later became a Lead Artist at CDM in collaboration with Roadhouse Interactive from May 2012 to August 2012. Pallavi also worked as a 2D/3D Artist at Ayogo Health Inc. from September 2012 to February 2013, and briefly returned as a Game Artist from September 2012 to December 2012.

In 2013, Pallavi embarked on a freelance career, taking on various artistic projects until November 2014. Pallavi then joined Mark Media Corp. in December 2014 as a 3D Artist, where they specialized in creating 3D art assets for an educational TV show called Miao Miao, as well as low poly environments, characters, and props for the game Shuyan Saga. Pallavi also managed a small art team, optimized workflow, and contributed ideas for efficient production.

Pallavi's career continued to progress in the gaming industry as they joined Clartoons (WE) Inc. as a Lead Artist from December 2016 to March 2018. Pallavi then joined Budge Studios in October 2018, initially as a 3D Artist until February 2019, and later as a Team Lead 3D Artist from March 2019 to October 2020.

Currently, Pallavi works at Snowman since October 2020, where they started as a Lead 3D Artist until January 2022. Pallavi is currently employed as a 3D Art Director, responsible for leading and overseeing the creation of 3D art assets.

Pallavi Maruvada pursued a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2007 to 2011. During this period, their field of study focused on Game Art and Design. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Digital Media at Simon Fraser University from 2011 to 2012, specializing in Game and Interactive Media Design.
