Guillaume Nibert has the following work experience:
1. Network and Security Engineer | PhD Student at Snowpack (July 2022 - present): Guillaume is currently preparing a PhD thesis in relation to the industry as part of a CIFRE fellowship. Their objective is to evaluate and control the security and anonymity levels of the Snowpack network. Guillaume collaborates with the teams of the Snowpack start-up, the Computer Science Laboratory of Paris VI (LIP6 - Sorbonne University), and the Laboratory for Information, Networking and Communication Sciences (LINCS).
2. Network and Security Engineer at Snowpack (March 2022 - June 2022): Guillaume worked on the development of an overlay network without a trusted third-party at Snowpack. This network allows for anonymous and secure data exchange between a client and a server. Guillaume contributed to the transformation of IP packets into complementary snowflakes to prevent identification in the event of an attack.
3. Data Scientist Engineer Apprentice at EDF (September 2018 - August 2021): Guillaume developed a Python tool for extracting and utilizing data from the nuclear sector to improve feedback. Guillaume worked on algorithm study, including textual analysis and image processing, and software architecture redefinition. Guillaume collaborated with EDF-DI information system members to retrieve raw data. Additionally, during the COVID-19 lockdown period, they produced a technology watch report proposing solutions for facilitating remote working. Guillaume also managed follow-up documents related to various projects in the electrical control/command division, involving coordination with 15 engineers.
Guillaume Nibert began their education in 2016 at Lycée Jean Dupuy - TARBES, where they pursued a Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles (CPGE) in PTSI/PT. Guillaume completed this program in 2018.
From 2018 to 2021, Guillaume attended Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), where they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur en Génie Informatique (MS in Computer Science and Engineering in apprenticeship). Their field of study at UTC was Information Infrastructure and Systems (ISI).
Currently, Guillaume is furthering their education at Sorbonne Université. Guillaume started in 2022 and is expected to graduate in 2025 with a PhD in Computer Science.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Guillaume has acquired certain certifications. In 2017, they obtained a European driving licence - Category B from Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés (ANTS).
