Joe Paravisini

Joe Paravisini is the Director of Applied AI at Snowplow. Before stepping into this role, Joe served as Snowplow’s Director of Engineering, SRE, where he led large-scale infrastructure initiatives, introduced an API-driven automation layer for customer-controlled deployments, and drove company-wide adoption of applied AI across engineering workflows.

Since joining Snowplow in 2019, Joe has held senior roles across the SRE organization—including Staff, Principal, and Lead SRE—where he helped expand Snowplow’s cloud footprint, developed core automation and tooling, and scaled platform reliability for global customers processing trillions of events.

Prior to Snowplow, Joe built and led engineering and platform teams at Virgin Pulse and ShapeUp, where he focused on system stability, post-production quality, and operational excellence across large SaaS environments. Earlier in his career, he worked in full-stack development, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering roles supporting high-traffic platforms and diverse product lines.
