Charlie Johnston

Charlie Johnston is a Spot Trader at Snowy Hydro Limited, responsible for trading a diverse generation portfolio and conducting rigorous market analysis. Previous experience includes roles as a Consultant and Market Analyst at CORE Markets, providing strategic support for long-term energy contracts, and a Researcher at UNSW, focusing on renewable hydrogen feasibility studies. Charlie also served as a PASS Tutor at UNSW Business School, teaching quantitative courses, and completed an Infrastructure Advisory internship at EY. Additional roles include intern positions at Ara Capital and 180 Degree Consulting, where Charlie received an award for outstanding performance, and contributions as a Co-President and founder of the UNSW MentorMe society. Charlie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Commerce from UNSW and completed an exchange program at Lund University.
