Jos A. Vrolijk

Jos A. Vrolijk is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various roles related to nature management, education, and business development. Currently serving as a Boardmember of Stichting Beschermers Amstelland since July 2021, Vrolijk focuses on landscape management in the Amstelscheg region. Additionally, involvement as a Freelance Hiking Tour Leader with SNP Natuurreizen BV has been ongoing since 2009, complemented by a position as an independent nature guide. Vrolijk has been contributing to the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences as a lecturer in entrepreneurship and digital platforms since August 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Stichting FREE Nature, promoting the development of natural landscapes through large grazing animals, and a notable tenure as a Senior Lecturer in Crossmedia studies at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Educational qualifications include a degree in Social-Economic Geography from the University of Amsterdam and post-doctoral studies in Marketing and Finance, alongside a strategic role in business development at KPN from 2002 to 2004.
