Andnet Bayleyegn, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in horticulture and agricultural education, currently serving as Deputy Project Manager at SNV since October 2021. With a robust career at SNV Netherlands Development Organization since June 2017 as a Senior Advisor in Practical Academic Education and Senior Horticulture Trainer/Advisor, Andnet has cultivated expertise in project management and educational frameworks. Previous roles include Assistant Professor at Bahir Dar University and Farm Manager at Esmeralda Farms, focusing on flower production. Andnet's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Agronomic and Ecological Sciences from Montpellier SupAgro/University of Catania, along with a Master’s in Horticulture from Hawassa University and a Bachelor’s in Plant Sciences from Mekelle University, complemented by a diploma in Electrical Technology.
