Tewodros Berihun

Tewodros Berihun is an experienced project manager with a background in agricultural engineering and renewable energy initiatives. Currently serving as a Project Manager at SNV since February 2022, Tewodros leads projects focused on mini-grid powered irrigation systems and enhancing the productive use of renewable energy in Ethiopian agriculture. Previously, Tewodros held the position of Regional Manager for the Energy Programme at GIZ Ethiopia and Djibouti from November 2005 to February 2022. Tewodros also contributed to the Tekeze Hydro Electric Power Project as Head of Environmental Mitigation Measures and worked as a Natural Resource Management/Irrigation Engineer at the MoA/North Wollo Department of Agriculture. Tewodros’s educational credentials include a Master of Science in Project Planning and Management from YOM Institute of Economic Development, a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Bahir Dar University, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Alemaya University.
