Claire Cuccio, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. Claire began their career in 1989 with the U.S. Army as a COL/Signal Officer. In 2011, they became the Deputy for Cyber and Technical Integration for the Office Secretary of Defense, Acquisition, Technology & Logistics. In 2014, they took on the role of G3, Operations Officer at the 311th Signal Command (Theater). Claire was then promoted to Chief Of Staff and Deputy Commander at the 311th Signal Command (Theater) in 2016. In 2015, they became the Director of Legislative Affairs for HQS, Resolute Support, COMRS/USFOR-A. Claire also held the role of Adjunct Professor at the University of Hawaii-West Oahu in 2015 and the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2017. In 2019, they joined the Advisory Board Member for Girl Scouts Nation's Capital. In 2018, they became the President and CEO of SNVC. Finally, in 2022, they will join the Advisory Board Member for the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Claire Cuccio, Ph.D. has an extensive educational history. Claire earned a BS in Computer Science from Siena College in 1989, followed by a MA in Public Administration from Troy University in 1992. In 1997, they received a Master's Degree in CIS from Webster University, and in 2000, a Master's Degree in Military Art and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. In 2009, they earned both a Master's Degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Science and Technology Studies from Virginia Tech. In 2010, they completed a Master of Science (MS) in National Security Strategy from the National War College. Claire then went on to receive a Certificate in Women in Leadership from Cornell University in 2017 and a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Policy and Management, as well as a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Cybersecurity, from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
