Cory Nelsen

Cory Nelsen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in design and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Facility Engineer at Snyder Industries, LLC since October 2020, Cory previously held the position of Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Chemring Energetic Devices from June 2019 to August 2020. Between November 2016 and May 2019, Cory worked as a Design Engineer at Plasticade, following similar roles at Mauser and AGRI-Industrial Plastics from November 2015 to November 2016 and June 2013 to November 2015, respectively. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa obtained in 2013, where Cory also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2012. Academic research focused on enhancing shock wave simulation techniques.
