Austin Martin

Austin Martin is the current VP of Strategy & Operations at Snyk. Prior to joining Snyk, they served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Operations at Veeam Software from January 2016 to December 2020. At Veeam, Austin organized and lead a 150-person Strategy & Operations team responsible for driving growth through efficient decision making, rapid execution, and global scale. Additionally, during periods of management transition, they led both the 80-person Human Resource organization and the 50-person Sales Enablement team.

Before joining Veeam, Austin served as Sr. Director, Strategy and Operations, Enterprise at VMware from January 2014 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for leading VMware's strategy and operations for their enterprise business.

Prior to their time at VMware, Austin was Sr. Director, Business Operations (Strategy, Analytics & Investments) at EMC from January 2010 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for leading EMC's business operations, including strategy, analytics, and investments.

Austin Martin attended the [Boston College High School before studying at Georgetown University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Economics. Austin then went on to study at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration.

They are on a team with Jeff Yoshimura - Chief Marketing Officer & Customer Experience Officer, Karyn Smith - Chief Legal Officer, and Adi Sharabani - CTO. Their manager is Peter McKay, CEO.
