Lindsay Jack

Lindsay Jack has a strong background in security services and engineering. Lindsay'smost recent position was as the VP Engineering, Security at Snyk since November 2022. Prior to that, they held senior leadership roles at Mimecast, including Senior Vice President, Security Services from July 2021 to November 2022, and Vice President, Security Services from April 2019 to July 2021. At Mimecast, they managed engineering teams responsible for various security services and collaborated across the business to provide the best results for customers. Before Mimecast, Lindsay was the Director of Software Development at Forcepoint from January 2016 to February 2017, and at Websense from July 2013 to January 2016. At Websense, they also served as a Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager, overseeing the development of hosted web and email security products. Lindsay began their career as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the University of Liverpool from January 2001 to February 2005.

Lindsay Jack has a strong background in electrical engineering and artificial intelligence. They obtained a BEng (Hons) degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, spanning from 1993 to 1997. Following this, Lindsay pursued further education at the same university, earning a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence from 1997 to 1999. After that, they also obtained another PhD, this time in Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Genetic Algorithms, Genetic Programming, and NNs, from the University of Liverpool from 1999 to 2000.
