Omer Kahani

Omer Kahani is an experienced software engineer known for technical leadership and expertise in cloud platforms and development practices. At Snyk, Omer served as Group Staff Software Engineer in the Platform Infra Group, overseeing five teams, and previously led a team of nine engineers in building a production platform. Prior to Snyk, Omer was the Lead Cloud Platform Developer at Riskified, where expertise in Kubernetes, Istio, and mentoring was demonstrated. Omer also held the position of Senior Full Stack Developer at Riskified, focusing on Ruby on Rails and AngularJS. Earlier experience includes leading a development team at the Israel Defense Forces and working as a software developer. Omer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management with an emphasis on Big Data from Tel Aviv University.
