Sjoerd van Elsen

Sjoerd van Elsen is an experienced communications professional with a current role as Communications Officer at Soa Aids Nederland since October 2012. Previously, Sjoerd held positions as a trainee at the European Parliament and European Commission, specializing as an Assistant Press Officer and Blue Book Trainee, respectively. Earlier experience includes roles at IDEA: International Debate Education Association as Communications Officer, event assistance at De Onderwijsdagen, and various positions in academic communication and public relations. Sjoerd holds a Master’s degree with merit in International Applied Communication from the University of Central Lancashire and a Bachelor's degree in Communicatiemanagement from Utrecht University of Applied Sciences.
