Angela Mercier has worked in a variety of roles throughout their career. Angela began in 1995 as a Diffusion Engineering Technician at Atmel Corporation. In 2005, they transitioned to a Registered Nurse at Carolinas Healthcare System. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Family Nurse Practitioner student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at UNC Charlotte. During this time, they were also a Family Nurse Practitioner at Cabarrus Family Medicine and Minute Clinic. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Clinical Manager at Soap Health.
Angela Mercier has an extensive education history. Angela obtained their Associates of Applied Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Carolinas College of Health Sciences in 2003-2005. Angela then obtained their Registered Nurse certification from the North Carolina Board of Nursing in June 2005. In 2006-2008, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In June 2009, they obtained their Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification from The National Certification Corporation. Finally, they obtained their Masters of Science Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2011-2013. Additionally, they obtained their Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association in June 2002.
