Dylan Schmorrow

Dr. Dylan Schmorrow is a pioneer in creating, fostering, and leading innovation that dramatically accelerates the advancement of technology to hasten the transition of novel ideas to practical use. He is a leader in the advancement of a new generation of intelligent, autonomous, and collaborative robotic systems, unique human-machine teaming solutions, and application of AI technologies to enhance training, cybersecurity, decision-support, and medical capabilities. Additionally, he serves as an Editor of the Taylor and Francis Group’s Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Journal, as a Potomac Institute for Policy Studies Senior Fellow, and is an active member in several Industry and DoD societies and working groups. He retired as a U.S. Navy Captain where he was an Acquisition Professional in the Naval Acquisition Corps. Additional past service includes Deputy Director, Human Performance, Training, and BioSystems at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Program Manager for DARPA, and Program Officer at the Office of Naval Research. Dr. Schmorrow received his Ph.D. from Western Michigan university.
