Derek Fulton

Derek Fulton has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Derek currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at SOAR Transportation Group, starting in July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the VP FP&A / Assistant Treasurer from June 2020 to June 2022, and as an Assistant Treasurer / FP&A from January 2020 to June 2020. Derek also worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at SOAR Transportation Group from February 2019 to January 2020.

Before joining SOAR Transportation Group, Derek worked as a Financial Analyst at Dyno Nobel from September 2017 to February 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Business Manager/Financial Analyst at Savage Services from April 2014 to September 2017. Derek also worked at Savage Services as a Staff Accountant - Special Reporting Entities from July 2012 to January 2014.

Derek started their career as a Staff Accountant at Lake, Hill & Myers in October 2011, where they gained experience in auditing for profit, non-profit, and real estate entities. Derek also audited 401(k) plans during their time there. Prior to that, they worked as an Accounting Specialist at Zimmer Rocky Mountain from September 2008 to October 2011.

Derek Fulton pursued their education at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business. From 2006 to 2008, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Later, from 2011 to 2012, they furthered their education at the same institution and completed a Master's degree in Accountancy.
