Melissa O'Brien is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in people operations and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Director of People and Operations at The Sobrato Organization since January 2023, Melissa has previously held significant roles including Director of People Operations at Tilda Research and Senior Director of People Operations & Workplace at Highfive. At Highfive, Melissa advanced from Head of Culture to Senior Director, overseeing employee relations within a dynamic technology environment. Earlier career highlights include serving as Senior Director of Development & Communications at Merrimack Valley YMCA, where Melissa managed corporate partnerships and events, as well as roles at Candlewick Press as Sales Manager, driving growth in a multi-million dollar territory. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
