Ty Ortiz

Ty Ortiz has extensive experience in security program management and protective services, currently serving as a Security Program Officer at the U.S. Department of State since April 2017. In this role, Ty manages local guard forces, oversees policy development, leads contract administration, and acts as a subject matter expert in residential security for the Kabul Embassy Security Force. Additionally, Ty has held leadership positions at SOC LLC and DynCorp International, where responsibilities included supervising protective security specialists and managing guard force operations. Previous roles include providing personal protection services and training security personnel at Global Integrated Security Solutions and Reed Inc. Ty Ortiz holds a degree from the University of Phoenix.
