Chris Gallagher serves as CEO & President of SOC Telemed’s recently-acquired subsidiary, Access Physicians, and leads the company’s efforts to provide equitable access to excellent healthcare throughout the country by delivering world class physicians and redefining the standard of care in telemedicine.

Dr. Gallagher is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and is among the founders of Access Physicians, where he served as Chief Executive Officer from 2011 until the company’s 2021 acquisition. Prior to Access Physicians, Dr. Gallagher served as the Chief Medical Officer of CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs.

Dr. Gallagher trained at UT Southwestern for his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship and earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine.
