- Prashant Bhat
Prashant Bhat has a strong background in software engineering and IT leadership. Prashant started their career as a System Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked on GE projects and eventually became an Onsite lead at GE-CBSI in Ft Myers, FL.
Prashant then worked at Verizon as a Sr Application Developer, where they developed and implemented web services for the DSL Online Ordering system.
After that, Prashant joined Lumenos, a startup focused on health insurance products, as a Sr Application Developer. Prashant led the Web applications team and was responsible for introducing the SOA based Bus framework and Smart client concepts. Lumenos was later acquired by Anthem (aka Wellpoint).
Prashant then moved on to Elevance Health, where they served as a Manager Technology Sr. Prashant managed multiple technical teams supporting Wellpoint Claims, Reports, and Letter applications.
In 2012, Prashant joined Evolent Health as a Sr. Director IT - Software Engineering. Prashant designed and built a software development team that played a crucial role in developing the Identifi population management enterprise platform, which went on to have a successful IPO in 2015.
Most recently, Prashant worked at Access TeleCare as the Vice President of Software Engineering. Prashant designed, developed, and built a software engineering team that created the Telemed IQ telemedicine enterprise platform, leading to a successful IPO in 2020. Prashant was actively involved in application and platform architecture, introducing automation, CI/CD, and agile practices. Prashant also led a diverse team of web and backend developers, DevOps engineers, QA engineers, and automation engineers.
Prashant Bhat completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication from Malnad College of Engineering, Mysore University.
