Racquel Villagante

Racquel Villagante is an accomplished creative executive with extensive experience in the music industry, currently serving as a Creative Executive at SOCAN since August 2021. Prior roles include Music Business Management Mentor at Manifesto and Business Manager & Artist Consultant at Yes Lioness, where Racquel excelled in strategizing music production and executing publicity campaigns. Previous experience at SOCAN involved A&R representation, focusing on member engagement and collaboration within the music community. Racquel co-founded the WOMXN RISING festival-conference and has held various teaching and management positions in music education and record labels. An alumnus of The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature, Racquel also possesses a diploma in Music Business Management from Nimbus School of Recording & Media.
