Andrew Jang

Andrew Jang started their work experience in 2015 as the Co-Founder/CEO of Polariant, a company that specialized in indoor positioning technology. Polariant was eventually acquired by SOCAR. In 2019, Andrew joined SOCAR as a Software Engineer and later became a Data Scientist. Andrew then progressed to become the Lead of the Business Growth team. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Business Development at SOCAR.

Andrew Jang holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Seoul National University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2015 from Korea University, specializing in communication and electronics. Alongside their formal education, Andrew also received certifications in The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera and CAPM (Certified Associate Project Management) from the Project Management Institute in 2015 and 2014, respectively.
