Asif Rahimov

Asif Rahimov is a highly experienced electrical engineer with over a decade of expertise in various roles within the engineering and construction sectors. Currently serving as the Lead Electrical Engineer at SOCAR - FOSTER WHEELER Engineering, Asif leads engineering teams and actively participates in project scheduling and design phases. Previous positions include Senior Electrical Technician at Kentech Group, where responsibilities included pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical systems, and Electrical QA/QC Engineer at Kontinent Inshaat, focusing on material inspections and quality compliance. Asif has also worked as a Lead Electrical Engineer in significant projects such as the TKAZ Alliance Shah Deniz 2 Onshore Terminal Facility. With a foundational education in Engineering Physics, including a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master's degree in Physics from Baku State University, Asif brings a strong academic background to practical engineering applications.
