Berkay Beşerler

Berkay Beşerler serves as the Financial Control Group Manager at SOCAR Türkiye, overseeing financial control and corporate governance functions since September 2016. Previously held roles include Corporate Control Supervisor and Financial Control Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed financial analysis, risk management, digitalization of finance functions, and strategic decision-making. Additionally, Berkay has experience as SOCAR Shipping Agency Manager since January 2023, and from September 2014 to September 2016 worked at PwC as an Experienced Assurance Associate, focusing on auditing major banks and companies. Earlier career experiences include project assistance at WYG Group and internships at Finansbank, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, and Garanti Bank. Berkay holds an Executive MBA from Sabanci University and graduated first in class with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Hacettepe University.
