Dinçer Akbaba

Dinçer Akbaba is an experienced professional in the energy and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as the Head of HSE Transformation for the Refinery and Petrochemical Unit at SOCAR Türkiye since March 2018. Akbaba has held multiple leadership positions including Head of Bursagaz Operations and Asset Operations Director for Kayserigaz and Bursagaz, along with serving as General Manager of Kayserigaz and Deputy General Manager of Petkim. Prior to joining SOCAR Türkiye, Akbaba worked at Enerjisa Üretim from May 2010 to March 2018 in various roles such as Plants Manager for Bandırma CCGT and Maintenance Manager for the CCGT Fleet. Akbaba began a career at Akçansa as Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader and at Ford Otosan as Production Team Leader. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Sabanci University and completion of the Business School Executive Leadership Program from Columbia University.
