M.celal Savas

M. Celal Savas is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in senior advisory and legal roles. Currently serving as Senior Advisor to the CEO and Chief Legal Officer at SOCAR Türkiye since April 2018, M. Celal Savas has held prominent positions including Member of the Management Board at Petkim from September 2022 to April 2024, and Board Member at GOSB from May 2016 to March 2018. Previously, M. Celal Savas worked as General Counsel and Board Member at Siemens from April 2006 to March 2018, and as Legal Counsel at bp from September 2000 to April 2006, specializing in Retail, Gas, Logistics, and serving as Company Secretary. M. Celal Savas also owned a private legal practice from July 1995 to September 2000 and was an Assistant in the History of Turkish Law at Istanbul University from April 1989 to March 1994. M. Celal Savas holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Istanbul University (1983-1988) and completed secondary education at Mengen Lisesi (1977-1983).
