Samir G.

Samir G. has a diverse work experience in the media and creative industry. Samir is currently working as a Creative Group Head at SoCheers, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Art Director (Video) at the same company from November 2021 to November 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, Samir worked at Initium Productions as a Senior Video Editor and Live EVS Producer. Samir was responsible for editing videos and producing live EVS content.

Before that, they worked as a Promo Video Editor at B4U Television from 2016 to 2017.

Samir has also held positions at BIG MAGIC, NDTV Prime, Fox Life, Balaji Telefilms Ltd., and Cutpoint Pro Edit Studio, where they gained experience as an Associate Video Editor, Motion Graphic Designer, and Assistant Video Editor, respectively.

From 2012 to 2015, Samir worked as a self-employed freelancer, taking on roles as a Director and Cinematographer for individual and client-based projects, including short films, music videos, travel vlogs, and documentaries. Samir'sdocumentary "Bohagi Husori" received the "Best documentary" award and was screened in Greece.

Samir G. began their education at Carmel School, Jorhat where they completed their High School education from 1996 to 1999. Samir then attended Delhi Public School, Nazira from 2000 to 2008, also completing their High School degree. In 2009, they studied Science at Kendriya Vidyalaya for a year. Finally, Samir pursued their Bachelor's Degree from the Indian Institute of Digital Art and Animation from 2010 to 2013.
