Aakash Piplani

Aakash Piplani currently serves as a Portfolio Manager at Social Alpha, a position held since May 2023, focusing on opportunities in animal nutrition, animal health, rural finance, and non-farm activities. Prior to this role, Aakash was part of the leadership team at Innoterra, where contributions were made to develop India's first "Learn to Earn" app for smallholder farmers, a project that earned recognition at the Webby’s Anthem Awards. As a Strategy Officer at MoooFarm from March 2019 to May 2020, Aakash played a key role in driving growth and product innovation as an early team member. Experience at Barefoot College involved collaboration with notable figures to further the organization's mission, while a fellowship with SBI Youth for India encompassed the design of a developmental program for adolescents across multiple states. Aakash holds a Master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Warwick.
