Andrew Artz

Andrew Artz is the Founder and Managing Partner at Dark Arts, an early-stage investment firm established in August 2024 that focuses on commercializing scientific research in collaboration with universities and research institutions. Artz has extensive experience in the venture capital and gaming sectors, having served as a Board Partner and in various roles at Social Capital since July 2013, and as Senior Manager of Business Operations at Zynga in 2012, where integration efforts were coordinated following a merger. Prior to these positions, Artz held the role of Vice President of Analytics & Finance at OMGPOP, leading the company's sale to Zynga, and worked at IBM as an M&A Analyst. Artz began a career in finance with Global Platinum Securities and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Harvard University.
