David Kim

Executive Assistant To The President at Social Diversity for Children Foundation

David Kim has seven years of work experience. In 2021, they were a Constitutency Youth Council Member for the Government of Canada in Vancouver Quadra, where they collaborated with other members to discuss policy and community initiatives in coordination with the Office of the Member of Parliament for Vancouver-Quadra. Additionally, they planned public events surrounding the topics of community engagement and environmental stewardship, particularly targeted toward the youth population in the riding. That same year, they were also a Chair of UNEP for the Canada International Model United Nations. In 2020, they were a Director of UNSC for the Richmond Model United Nations, where they directed at RichMUN 2021 UNSC online and created a 20-page backgrounder and hosted weekly meetings. Additionally, they were an Executive Assistant To The President and Finance Associate for the Social Diversity for Children Foundation. In 2021 and 2022, they were a Director of DISEC and Assistant Director of SOCHUM for the Vancouver Model United Nations and TEDx Organizer and Founder for TEDxYouth@PMSS, respectively.

David Kim is currently enrolled in International Baccalaureate, which they began in 2021 and is expected to finish in 2023. David is also enrolled in Port Moody Secondary, which they began in 2019 and is expected to finish in 2023. In 2022, they took a course at Cornell University titled "Making Sense of World Politics: An Introduction to International Relations". In 2019, they attended International Summer Schools (ISSOS) for Debate. Prior to this, they attended St. George's School from 2018 to 2019.
